THE PROJECT

A specialty salon.
A site that answers first.

Jade Salon of Atlanta is a specialty hair salon in Smyrna, Georgia. Its services run from Japanese thermal straightening and keratin treatments to balayage, color correction, precision cuts and blow-dry services, and it also rents private salon suites.

We designed and built the site on WordPress with Elementor. Each signature service has its own page, the full menu and price list sit on one page, and a salon suites page serves stylists looking for private space. Appointment requests come in through a form, and the salon’s Instagram posts and client reviews appear on the homepage.

DESIGN STRATEGY

Short sections,
one clear next step.

We built the homepage as a run of short sections, each answering a question a new client asks: what the salon does, what it costs, who the stylists are and what other clients say. A looping background video opens the page.

The salon’s specialties, Japanese straightening and keratin, each get a dedicated page linked from the homepage, and every page ends with the same prompt to schedule an appointment, so the next step is always in the same place.

STRUCTURE

Short homepage sections that answer a new client’s questions in order: services, prices, stylists, reviews.

SPECIALTIES

Japanese straightening and keratin each have a page of their own, linked from the homepage.

NEXT STEP

Every page closes with the same prompt to schedule an appointment.

HOW IT’S BUILT

WordPress and Elementor,
with the essentials built in.

The site runs on WordPress with Elementor and Elementor Pro on a child theme. Forminator handles appointment requests, the Instagram feed is brought in automatically, All in One SEO manages titles, descriptions and schema, and WP Rocket handles caching and minified assets.

SEARCH, BUILT IN

Specialties with
pages of their own.

Clients search for the treatment, not just the salon, so each specialty has a page of its own.

Japanese hair straightening and Brazilian keratin treatments each have a dedicated page.

The salon suites page names private salon rentals in Smyrna in its title.

The homepage carries a canonical tag, Open Graph and Twitter card tags, and structured data for the website, the page and the business.

A blog with an RSS feed gives the site regular, dated content.

Images below the fold use native lazy loading.
