THE PROJECT
WebJoint makes software for licensed cannabis dispensaries and delivery services. Its platform covers point of sale, delivery management, online ordering and marketing, and it serves operators across the United States from its base in Los Angeles.
We designed and built webjoint.com: four product sections with seven feature pages each, a resources section, pages for hybrid and multi-location operators, a demo booking page, a regulations directory covering all 50 states and a cannabis delivery software page for each state. Our work with WebJoint goes beyond the website. We built the WebJoint platform too, and the team powering Nexvato has a history with WebJoint.
DESIGN STRATEGY
WebJoint sells to regulated businesses, so we designed the site to read as business software: deep navy, plenty of white space, everything in Inter and real product screens inside laptop, tablet and phone frames. The copy leads with compliance and leaves out cannabis slang.
Motion explains the product. Each feature page opens with an animated graphic built from product screens, an animated diagram shows how the parts of the platform connect, and a five-part mega menu maps the whole platform.
TYPOGRAPHY
Inter throughout: bold for headings, regular for reading, medium for the interface.
COLOR
Deep navy with a blue accent and touches of coral and mint.
MOTION
Animated product graphics, a parallax hero and a glass hover pill in the menu, all respecting reduced motion.
HOW IT’S BUILT
We built the site with Next.js, React and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS and a set of color, shadow and spacing tokens. Framer Motion and GSAP handle the motion, React Three Fiber renders the 3D scenes, and the site runs on AWS Amplify behind CloudFront.
The regulations directory and the state pages come from one typed dataset, so a change to a state’s rules flows to both its regulations page and its delivery software page.
SEARCH, BUILT IN
Cannabis rules change at the state line, so every state gets two pages: its regulations, and WebJoint’s delivery software there.
We built a regulations page for each of the 50 states, with a title and description generated from that state’s data and an FAQ marked up as structured data.
We generated 50 cannabis delivery software pages, one per state, from the same dataset, each linked to its state’s regulations page and to an Areas We Serve hub.
We moved the product sections onto descriptive addresses such as /dispensary-point-of-sale and /cannabis-delivery-software, with 26 permanent redirects from the older paths.
Product, state and resource pages carry FAQ sections with matching structured data.
An XML sitemap and robots file are generated from the site’s own routes.
