The best web design companies in Sarasota, FL, with each firm’s address, platforms and specialty, and which one fits your business. Checked October 2026.

The best web design companies in Sarasota are Nexvato, MethodFactory, Grapevine Communications, Nextiny Marketing, Captivation Agency, Sitespring, Karma Marketing + Media, SpredX and Xplode Marketing. Every one of them has an office in Sarasota, a working portfolio and a clear specialty, from custom-coded builds to HubSpot, WordPress and video-led sites.

We’re a Sarasota web design company ourselves, so Nexvato comes first and we explain exactly why. Every other firm earned its place on the same checks, and each entry says who that firm suits best, including when that isn’t us.

How we chose these companies

We started with about 30 firms that appear in Google for Sarasota web design searches and in the Sarasota listings on Clutch, Semrush and DesignRush. Most of what ranks for these searches is directories, and many of the “Sarasota” agencies in them are based in Tampa, St. Petersburg or other states.

A company made this list only if it met all four of these checks:

  • A real Sarasota office. The street address is published on the company’s own website. We left out national firms with a Sarasota landing page and no local office, and firms based in Bradenton.
  • A live, current website. We dropped firms whose site was offline or hadn’t been updated in years.
  • Visible work. A portfolio, case studies or named clients on its own site.
  • Web design as a core service, not a side offer.

We checked every address, founding date and platform on each company’s own website in October 2026, and we say so when a site doesn’t state something. No company paid to be included. We didn’t use star ratings, because they change weekly and can’t be compared fairly across platforms. After Nexvato, the list is in no particular order. Each firm is strong at something different.

1. Nexvato

Nexvato is a web design and marketing agency with a staffed office at 2937 Bee Ridge Rd, Unit 9-11, Sarasota, open to visitors Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We build custom websites and handle the work that decides whether a website brings in business: SEO, AI search, Google and Meta ads, and the follow-up after someone fills in a form.

Most of our sites are custom-coded in Next.js and TypeScript and hosted on AWS rather than built from a theme. That gives each client fast pages and clean, structured code. We also build on WordPress and hand-written HTML when a project calls for it. Our team built webjoint.com and the WebJoint platform, and our case studies cover a 3D ring studio for Seth Anthony, a practitioner-led healthcare site for Mend Health and a run of cannabis delivery sites. We’ve built hundreds of websites.

Why we put ourselves first, beyond the obvious:

  • Search is built in at launch. Our sites launch with page-by-page titles and descriptions, structured data, an XML sitemap and pages written around how customers search. The same team then runs the SEO, so nothing is lost in a handoff.
  • Design reviews in person or on a call. Sarasota clients can review the design at our Bee Ridge Road office or over video, and the site takes shape in a shared preview before launch.
  • One workspace after launch. Reports, approvals and inquiries sit in Nexvato OS, our client workspace, so you can see what’s happening without chasing emails.
“I couldn’t be happier with my new website. I interviewed many companies and chose Nexvato. Weekly meetings, a far more appealing site, and SEO optimization at a good price.” Jade Gonzalez, Nexvato client
