Your Google Business Profile is the listing customers use to find your business on Google Search and Maps. Giving Nexvato manager access lets our team help with the listing while you remain its owner.
Before you start
Sign in with a Google Account that owns the profile. A manager cannot invite other users. If you have multiple locations, identify the business name and address you want us to work on.
Add Nexvato as a manager
- Open your business listing. Visit Google Business Profile and choose the correct business.
- Find the access settings. Open the three-dot More menu, then choose Business Profile settings → People and access.
- Add our email. Select Add and enter the Google-account email from your Nexvato onboarding message.
- Choose Manager. Keep primary ownership with your business. Manager access supports day-to-day listing work without giving us control over your users.
- Send the invitation. Select Invite.
Confirm the invitation
Look in People and access for the pending invitation. Once accepted, our email will appear as a manager. Reply to your Nexvato contact with the business name and location so we can confirm access on our side.
If something does not look right
- No Add option: ask the profile owner to send the invitation.
- Wrong email: cancel the pending invitation and invite the correct address.
- More than one location: tell us which locations are included in your project so we can check each one together.
If you get stuck, tell your Nexvato contact which step you reached. A screenshot of the menu can help; leave passwords, codes, and unrelated account details out of it.
Change access later
An owner can return to People and access, select the user, and change the role or choose Remove person.
